At the open day of the Dutch Fruit Research Center in Randwijk, the autonomous orchard sprayer debuted for a group of almost 400 interested growers, consultants, customers and suppliers from Europe. at home and abroad. The unmanned tractor and orchard sprayer are capable of fully autonomous crop protection. The prototype was developed in a public-private partnership between partners KWH Holland, Probotiq, Abemec and Wageningen UR. The project is financed by ´Productschap Tuinbouw´ and the European Union through the PURE project.
