In recent years much of my editorial work has been published in different magazines. Without my name as a signature at the end of the article though, since the content was taken from press releases that were written by me. Early 2013 I started my own company writing articles and contributions for several magazines like Dutch TREKKER & Boerderij, Belgian Loonwerker and German Top Agrar.
I specialise in high-tech mechanisation and automation including GPS, precision farming/agriculture, big data, robotics, autonomous vehicles and other intelligent innovations. In addition, I have a strong affinity with historical engineering and innovations. This affinity relates amongst others to my hobby: aircooled Volkswagens.
Quality and carefulness are my most important trademarks. Besides, my work characterises itself by inventiveness and creativity. Depending on the medium and the target group(s) I use a different style like journalism, technical, scientific or popular. An overview of recent articles is available under Portfolio & References.
From scientific paper to magazine
Actually my editorial career already started in 1999 with the co-authorship of a scientific ‘paper’ as a result of my graduation. Title: “Introducing Logistical aspects of computer supported grading systems for pot plant production”, ISBN 907413467X. My first magazine publication dates from 2007.
I was able to establish various productions for employers including brochures, sales manuals, websites and press releases. Often multilingual including English and German. I also like to write for club magazines and I manage a private website dedicated to free tech tips for fellow owners of air-cooled Volkswagens. As of 2013 I professionally write high-tech articles accompanied by own photography or by photos from fellow freelancers.
